Decorater Icing
Monday, July 28th, 20081 1/2 cups shortening
1/2 cup water or milk
2 tsp. clear vanilla
2 tsp. almond extract (opt.)
2 pounds Powdered Sugar
Mix together for white icing that looks wonderful on your cake. Use food coloring paste to create different colors.
Some tips: Using water instead of milk makes the frosting last longer without spoiling.
