French Toast Casserole
Tuesday, September 30th, 20081 loaf Italian bread
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar (divided)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla (or almond) extract
1/2 cup pecans
4 eggs
2 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon (some like more)
2 tablespoon melted butter
Cut bread into 1 inch cubes. Place half of the bread cubes in a greased

Simple Breakfast Casserole
Tuesday, September 30th, 200810 eggs (egg beaters do fine)
2 1/2 cups of milk
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1/2 cup Velveeta cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheese
3 slices bread buttered and cubed
1 cup sausage
1/4 cup green pepper chopped
Brown the sausage with onion and pepper. Drain sausage mixture on paper towel.

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 green onion, sliced
1/4 lb. sausage, browned & drained well

Decorater Icing
Monday, July 28th, 20081 1/2 cups shortening
1/2 cup water or milk
2 tsp. clear vanilla
2 tsp. almond extract (opt.)
2 pounds Powdered Sugar
Mix together for white icing that looks wonderful on your cake. Use food coloring paste to create different colors.
Some tips: Using water instead of milk makes the frosting last longer without spoiling.
