To My Sisters, and Every Sister…Welcome!
Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity.

Dear Friends,
Welcome to “In, But Not Of, The World!”
I began this blog for my sisters. Like so many others, they are faithful young women, trying to grow into faithful, self-sufficient adults in a tumultuous world. As their older sister, I am often in a position to offer them guidance and direction. But just as often, I find that their outlook or observations have as big an impact in my life as I do in theirs.
I wanted to create a site where I could give them (and others) advice and encouragement. I wanted to share things I have learned about life, spirituality and good, clean fun. I also wanted a forum for them to share their thoughts, ideas and testimonies.
I initially meant for Young Women to be the target audience for this site, but I believe the content can benefit women of all ages. The games that a Young Woman uses to entertain children she babysits, can entertain the children of a young mother, or the grandchildren visiting for the weekend, etc. Learning and sharing know no age boundaries.
So, welcome, all Sisters, to our site. I hope you find it both practical and uplifting.
Sincerely,
Rebecca
