Thank You Notes Made Simple(r)

Hot tip for baby showers, bridal showers and wedding receptions: Instead of, or in addition to, a guest book, have the guests write their name and address on an envelope for a thank you note.
This simple practice saves time for the happy mother/bride/couple and allows their friends and family a chance to help in a meaningful way.
I attended a baby shower this week where this was done. I thought it was such a great idea that I had to call and tell my sister before she got married on Saturday. It was too late for one of her bridal showers but she promised to use it for a second bridal shower and her reception.
Now I am posting it here for any and all visitors to take advantage of. If you have suggestions for simplifying special occasions, feel free to post them in the comments here.
