Easy (But Very Tasty) Lasagna

1 lb. Ground beef or turkey
3 1/2 cups (32 oz. jar) Thick spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cup Water
2 cups Small curd cottage cheese
3 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (opt.)
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
9 lasagna noodles, uncooked

Brown beef or turkey; drain grease. Add sauce and to meat and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix eggs, cheeses and seasonings in a separate bowl. Layer in 9 x 13 inch pan as follows: 1 cup sauce, 3 noodles, 1 1/2 cups sauce, half of the cheese mixture, 3 noodles, 1 1/2 cups sauce, rest of the cheese mixture, 3 noodles and remainder of sauce. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes longer. (You may sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top after removing foil.) Allow to stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
